Furniture for the way the work is actually done.

RAM Office Interiors is a New York City office furniture dealer. We specify, deliver and install contract furniture for offices across Manhattan and the NYC metro area. Send us the plan and we will send back a real number.

What we do

One dealership from the first plan to the last punch item.

Most of what goes wrong with an office furniture package happens between the drawing and the dock. We hold the whole line, from space planning through installation, so nothing falls between trades in a New York building.

01

Space planning

Test fits, blocking and stacking, and typicals worked against your real headcount rather than a catalogue layout.

02

Specification

Full specification with finishes, fabric and power paths, issued in SIF so it drops cleanly into the order.

03

Delivery and installation

Scheduled receiving, crews to suit the building, and a walked punch list at the end.

04

Moves, adds and changes

Reconfigurations, added stations and warranty work after occupancy, handled as one ongoing relationship.

Spaces

Specified by how the room is used.

Every space in an office answers to a different brief. These are the six we are asked for most. Open any one full screen from the tabs at the right of the page.

Process

Five steps, and you know where the job stands at each one.

Plan and budget

We take your floor plan and headcount and come back with a specified budget, not a range. Every line is a real product at a real price, so the number you take to the board is the number you spend.

Specification

Typicals, finishes and options fixed. You approve a drawing set and a line-by-line quote, with the finish samples in your hand rather than on a screen.

Order and track

Purchase orders placed and acknowledged, with lead times tracked against your occupancy date. If a factory slips, you hear it from us first and you hear the plan with it.

You get acknowledged lead times

Deliver and install

Receiving, building access, protection and installation sequenced around the other trades. Dock times, freight elevators and after hours windows are ours to hold, not yours.

Punch and close

We walk the floor with you, log every item, and stay on it until the list is empty. Warranty and service carry on from the same people who specified the job.

Lines and sourcing

Specified to the brief, not to one catalogue.

We work across manufacturers instead of pushing a single line, so the specification answers the budget, the lead time and the building.

If your architect has already specified a product, we will quote it. If the lead time will not hold your schedule, we will say so and put a real alternate next to it.

We hold the line card open on purpose. Rather than publish a fixed list, we keep current agreements and pricing across the manufacturers that matter for your budget, lead time and building. Tell us the brief and the relevant lines are in your inbox the same day.

How we work

A dealership is a service business that happens to sell furniture.

One point of contact

The person who wrote your specification is the person who walks your punch list. Nothing gets handed to a queue.

Built to last the lease

We specify for the second reconfiguration, not just the first install, and keep your typicals on file so additions match years later.

Straight answers on schedule

Lead times are quoted from acknowledgement, not from hope. If a date is at risk you hear it from us first.

Questions

What people ask before the first meeting.

Straight answers on cost, lead time, New York buildings and scope, before you spend an hour on a call.

Not on the list? Call 212-706-2489 and ask. We would rather answer it now than in week six.

Where does RAM Office Interiors deliver and install office furniture?

We serve Manhattan and the greater New York City metro area, including Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Long Island, Westchester and northern New Jersey. Our crews are used to NYC buildings, so certificates of insurance, dock times, freight elevator windows and after hours access are ours to hold.

What does it cost to furnish an office in New York City?

It depends on the typicals, the finishes and the lead time, so we do not quote a per seat number blind. Send us a floor plan and a headcount and we come back with a specified budget rather than a range. Every line is a real product at a real price, so the number you take to the board is the number you spend.

How long does contract office furniture take to arrive?

Most contract furniture runs roughly four to twelve weeks from an acknowledged purchase order, depending on the manufacturer, the finish and whether anything is made to order. We quote lead times from acknowledgement rather than from hope, and we track them against your occupancy date.

Can you work from our architect's or designer's specification?

Yes. If your architect has already specified a product we will quote it as drawn. We issue specifications in SIF so they drop cleanly into the order, and if a lead time will not hold your schedule we say so and put a real alternate next to it.

Do you offer office space planning as well as furniture?

Yes. Space planning is where most jobs are won or lost. We produce test fits, blocking and stacking, and typicals worked against your real headcount instead of a catalogue layout, then carry the same drawing set through specification and installation.

What kinds of office furniture do you supply?

Open plan benching and workstations, height adjustable and executive desks, ergonomic task and conference seating, boardroom and meeting tables, reception desks, lounge and ancillary furniture, and storage. We work across manufacturers rather than pushing a single line.

Do you handle moves, adds and changes after we move in?

Yes. Reconfigurations, added stations and warranty work are handled as one ongoing relationship, by the same people who specified the job. We keep your typicals on file so additions still match years later.

Start a project

Send us the plan. We will send back a real number.

A floor plan and a headcount is enough to begin. Drawings, a finish schedule or an existing specification all help, and none of them are required.
